Randa also grew up raising and showing Registered Brangus Cattle and is a past National Junior Board Member and International Brangus Queen. She still actively breeds and raises Brangus cattle, as well as a small select group of club calves, all with a major emphasis in embryo transfer and artificial insemination. She is also acquainted with the American Angus Association, as she served as the Junior Activities intern for them in the Summer of 2008. Randa is not only a cattle enthusiast because of a passion she has, but she truly believes in youth programs emphasizing livestock projects. For more information on the cattle herd, be sure to visit Royal Genetics on Facebook.
What began as a hobby during her college career has now grown into a lifestyle for Randa, her Southern Jewlz team, and all of the fabulous fans and customers! Randa strives to promote the “inner beauty” of her customers with a “conquer the world” attitude. She believes there are no limits to the amount of success one fabulous woman can achieve!

Ashleigh Sowell is a 2009 graduate from Anderson High School and is currently attending Texas A&M pursuing an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism.
As a student at TAMU, Ashleigh was extremely involved in FLE (Freshman Leadership Experience) through the College of Ag both her freshman year and again her sophomore year as a mentor. She served as the Reporter of the Saddle & Sirloin club last year, and will be the Public Relations officer for the upcoming school year.
Ashleigh has worked alongside Randa from the very beginning stages of SJ, as she began traveling on the road in the Summer of 2009 and then staffed our Kiosk at the Post Oak Mall in College Station, TX during the fall of 2009. Do not let her age fool you, as Ashleigh has truly proven herself and stepped up during the recent growth Southern Jewlz has encountered. She is not only a fabulous sales associate in the SJ Boutique, but she is also a multi-tasker who can get you dressed head to toe while helping other customers and inputting inventory in our system. We have enjoyed watching Ashleigh grow and mature during her time with SJ; she is a true jewl!
Fun Fact: She has a crazy obsession with Fleur de Lis for absolutely no reason at all.
